Rachel: ここって本当に静かね。
Paul: I know. I like it up here.
Rachel: I feel like we’re the only two people in the world. (She sets down her wine glass, picks up a grape, and knocks another one on the floor.) Oops. Sorry. (She reaches down to pick it up and Ross hands it to her. Ross is hiding under the couch and causes Rachel to scream.)
Paul: どうかしたハニー、ネズミでも居た？
Rachel: No-no! Big bear! Big bear outside! I think I-I—would you—actually, would you go check on that?
Paul: Honey, we don’t have any bears here.
Rachel: あ、そうなの。わかった。ダイエットコーク持ってきてくれる？
Paul: Okay. I’ll be right back. (Gets up and heads for the kitchen.)
Rachel: オーケー。（ポールがキッチンへと消えるや否や、カウチの下のロスを覗き）ちょっと、ここで何してんのよ？！
Ross: そっちこそ何してんのさ？！
Rachel: I came with Paul!
Ross: Yeah, I recognize the ankles!
Rachel: 立って！
Paul: (entering) Here you go honey!
Rachel: (Rachel kicks Ross back under the couch.)Ahh. Thank you!
Paul: Diet Coke. (Hands her the glass.)
Rachel: （手渡されたグラスを見て）あ、氷、私、氷欲しいなあ。（と、甘ったれた風に言う）
Paul: Okay.
Rachel: Thank you.
Paul: I’ll be right back. (He goes to get the ice.)
Ross: （カウチの下で）氷が欲しいわ〜、だって。
Rachel: Ugh! Get out! Get out! Go! Come on!
Ross: (He gets up and heads for the kitchen.)
Rachel: （大急ぎでロスを制止する）ダメ！そっちはダメ！彼がいる！（「あっち」と、キッチンの隣のドアを指差す）
Ross: (部屋に入る前に振り向いて）本当にクマの声聞いたの？
Rachel: 行ってってば！
Paul: (entering) Here you go honey. One Diet Coke with ice.
Rachel: Ohh, thank you.
Paul: I’m so happy that you’re here.
Elizabeth: (entering) Here I am!
Paul: (驚いて飛び上がるように立ち上がり)エリザベス！ワッ、見てよ、エリザベスだ！（気を取り直し、エリザベスに）誰にしゃべってるんだ？
Elizabeth: Uh, you guys?
Paul: 何故、父さんたちがここにいるとわかった？
Elizabeth: Umm…
Rachel: Well, she-she ob-obviously saw the tire tracks that were leading up to the closed garage.
Elizabeth: Obviously.
Paul: エリザベス、何しに来たんだ？！（オレはレイチェルをここに連れてきてるんだけど、と言う意志を伝えようと、エリザベスに目配せする）
Rachel: レポートかなんか書きに、ここに来たんじゃない？
Elizabeth: Yeah! Yep.
Rachel: だったら、あっちのお部屋に行って（先程ロスが入った部屋を指差す）、宿題にかかったら？
Elizabeth: Ohh, I wouldn’t do it in there. That’s my dad’s bedroom.
Rachel: That’s your, that’s your dad’s bedroom. (Yelling) That’s your dad’s bedroom!
Paul: なんで叫ぶんだ？
Rachel: Whoa, that Diet Coke just went straight to my head! Woo!

Rachel: It’s so secluded up here.
Paul: ああ、それが良いんだ。
Rachel: 世界に2人きりって感じ。（と、手にしたワイングラスをテーブルに置き、テーブルの皿の上のブドウを摘もうとするが、誤って、ブドウを一粒床に落としてしまう。それは、彼女たちが座っているカウチの下に転がって行く）あ、ごめんなさい。（と、それを拾おうと、彼女がカウチの下を覗くと…何と！そこにロスが隠れているのを見つける。途端、彼女はびっくりして叫び声を上げ、体を起こし、固まる）
Paul: What’s the matter honey? Did you see a little mouse?
Rachel: 違うの、大きいクマよ！大きいクマ、窓の外！多分、ね、お願い、ちょっと外行って見て来て？
Paul: ハニー、この辺にクマはいないよ。
Rachel: Well, okay. Would-would you get me a Diet Coke?
Paul: いいよ、待ってて。
Rachel: Okay. (After Paul leaves Rachel drops to the floor to confront Ross.) What?! What are you doing here?!
Ross: What are you doing here?!
Rachel: ポールと来たのよ！
Ross: ああ、その足首でわかったよ！
Rachel: Get up!
Paul: （ロスがカウチの下から這い出ようとしている最中、キッチンから戻って来る）お待たせハニー。
Rachel: （ロスをカウチの下へと蹴り戻しつつ、ポールに）ああ、ありがとう！
Paul: ダイエットコークだ。（と、レイチェルにグラスを手渡す）
Rachel: Op, ice. I need ice.
Paul: オーケー。（と、グラスを引き取る）
Rachel: ありがとう。
Paul: すぐ戻る。（と、グラスに氷を入れるため、キッチンへと戻る）
Ross: (under the couch) You and your ice.
Rachel: ああもう、出てよ！出て！早く！ほら！（と、ロスを追い立てる）
Ross: （カウチの下から這い出て、キッチンの方へ向かおうとする）
Rachel: No! Not in there! He’s in there! (She points Ross to the door next to the kitchen.)
Ross: (before entering) Did you really hear a bear?
Rachel: Go-go!
Paul: （リビングに戻ってきて）さあどうぞ。ダイエットコークだ。氷入り。
Rachel: ああ、ありがとう。（と、グラスを受け取り、カウチに腰掛ける）
Paul: （レイチェルの隣に腰掛け）とても嬉しいよ、君がここにいてくれて（と、彼女にキスしようとする）。
Elizabeth: ただいまー！
Paul: (jumping up) Elizabeth! Oh look, Elizabeth’s here! Who are you talking to?
Elizabeth: （一瞬言葉に詰まるが立ち直り）パパたちに？
Paul: How did you know we were here?
Elizabeth: えっと…
Rachel: （カウチから立ち上がり、ポールに）彼女きっとタイヤの跡見たのよ、ガレージに向かって続いてるのを。
Elizabeth: 全くその通り。
Paul: Elizabeth, what are you doing here?! (Motions that he brought Rachel here to be alone with her.)
Rachel: Did-did you come up here to work on that term paper or something?
Elizabeth: そう、それ！
Rachel: Well, why do y’know go in that room (points to the room Ross is in) and do your homework?
Elizabeth: ああ、あそこではやらないわ、あそこはパパの寝室だもの。
Rachel: あそこって、パパの寝室だったんだ。（その部屋の中にいるロスに伝わるように、声を上げて言う）そっちはパパの寝室なわけね！
Paul: Why are you yelling?
Rachel: ウォーウ、ダイエットコークが効いちゃった！ウーッ！
