場面説明
RossとElizabethの交際。それはRossの職場の就業規則違反となる教師と学生の交際だった。Rossの職場がこれを知ればRossはたちまちクビになる。Elizabethの父PaulもRossのことを「立場も考えず、こんなに歳の離れた娘をたぶらかすなんて、変態野郎だ！」とし、「これ以上娘と付き合うなら、お前の職場に通報する！お前を首にしてやる！」と言ってRossに厳しく迫っていた。そんなタイミングで2人は、Paulに無断で彼の別荘に遊びに出かけてしまう。すると…

Ross: ここホントに素敵だね！
Elizabeth: Yeah, I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. This used to be my Grandma’s.
Ross: へー、僕がおばあちゃんに譲ってもらったのは目だけだよ。いや、実際に目玉をもらったってことじゃないよ。ただ、みんなが言うんだ、僕の目って…（エリザベスの思わせぶりな視線に気付き）キスする？
Elizabeth: Sure!
Both: （They fall to the couch and start to make out）
Ross: （stops suddenly.）
Elizabeth: どうかした？何？
Ross: Ehh, I was just, I was just thinking about your father.
Elizabeth: Well, whatever works for ya…
Ross: No. No-no uh, he just, he just really freaked me out before.
Elizabeth: じゃあ、内緒にしなきゃね、お父さんにも。大変、でも楽しいわ、秘め事って感じで。
Ross: Yeah.
Both: (They start making out again.)
Elizabeth: ねえ、ガードするもの持ってきてる？
Ross: (loudly) Why?! Are there like bears or something?! (Looks around and then sees that Elizabeth is shaking her head no and realizes what Elizabeth meant.) Ohh. Oh, protection. Yeah-no, yeah-no, that-that-that I forgot.
Elizabeth: I’ll just run to the store and get some.
Ross: いや、ダメだよ、ちょっとちょっと、僕が男なんだから。僕が買いに行くよ。
Elizabeth: お店の場所わかるの？
Ross: No.
Elizabeth: 私の小さなピンクの自転車に乗って街を走りたい？
Ross: A little bit.
Elizabeth: 10分で戻るから。
Ross: Okay.
Elizabeth: お風呂に入ってて、後から行くから。
Ross: Ohh, okay
Elizabeth: (leaves)
Ross: (He starts to remove his clothing right there in the middle of the living room where someone can see him. Of course, someone almost does, but he hears a door opening and…)
Rachel: (from another room) Oh my God, what a great surprise! This is such a beautiful house.
Ross: He with his pants around his ankles tries to run, but Dr. Geller forgets that he has his pants around his ankles and falls down trying to flee.)
Paul: (To Rachel) Thank you, it’s my mom’s. So this is the kitchen.
Ross: (Dr. Geller, the man with the Ph.D. in Paleontology, is trying to find a place to hide, but this supposedly intelligent man in the hands of clichéd scriptwriters runs around with his pants down around his ankles like one of the Three Stooges.)

Elizabeth: でしょ、子供の頃からよく来てるの。元は祖母のものよ。
Ross: Wow! The only thing I got from my Grandmother was her eyes. I mean not-not her actual eyeballs, but, but people say that my eyes—Do-do you want to make out?
Elizabeth: そうね！
Both: （2人はカウチに倒れ込みキスを始める）
Ross: （突然止まる）
Elizabeth: Are you okay? What’s wrong?
Ross: いやあ、ちょっと、君のお父さんのこと考えちゃって。
Elizabeth: そう、あなたにとって効果があるものならなんでもいいけど(吹き替え=その方が興奮するの？)
Ross: いやあ、違う。この前、君のお父さんに、かなり脅かされたもんでね。
Elizabeth: Oh. Well, so we have to hide our relationship from one more person. Big deal. Besides, it’s kinda fun hiding.
Ross: ああ
Both: （またキスし始める）
Elizabeth: (quietly) Hey umm, you brought protection right?
Ross: 何で？ここってクマでも出るわけ？ああ、あのガードね。それは忘れてたなあ。
Elizabeth: じゃあ、私がひとっ走り買いに行ってくるわ。
Ross: Oh no! Hey-hey, I’m the guy! I’ll get it.
Elizabeth: Do you know where the store is?
Ross: いや（笑）
Elizabeth: Do you want to ride around town on my little pink bicycle?
Ross: ちょっとね。
Elizabeth: (laughs) I’ll be back in ten minutes.
Ross: オーケー
Elizabeth: Why don’t you get in the hot tub and I’ll meet you there.
Ross: オーケー
Elizabeth: （出かけて行く）
Ross: （彼はその場で服を脱ぎ始める。リビングのど真ん中だ。そして、彼がズボンを足首まで下ろした瞬間、他の部屋でドアが開く音がする。彼はそれを聞いて、ズボンを足首に残したまま、直立し、固まる）
Rachel: （他の部屋から声だけが届く。Rachel だ）わ〜、本当に驚き！なんて素敵な別荘なの。
Ross: （彼はズボンを足首に残したまま、床に放り出してある脱いだ服を拾おうとする。が、当然うまく動けず、ズボンが足に絡まり転ぶ。しかし彼は機敏に服を拾い、それを抱えて立ち上がり、ズボンを足に絡めつつ、必死に隠れ場所を探し始める）
Paul: （Rachelに）ありがとう、母のものだったんだ。で、ここがキッチンだ。
Ross: （相変わらず足首にズボンを絡めたまま、パンツ姿で必死に隠れ場所を探し回る。）
